Diamond Wire Saw Beads/Segments are used in marble, granite, sandstone, and other natural stone quarries for extraction of natural stone blocks. The cutting, Squaring and sizing of the blocks is carried out by the diamond wire saw beads/segments. Diamond wire saw beads can be briefly described in structural terms as consisting of a steel base (support) coated with diamond-impregnated metal bond. The bonding against the diamond wire saw segments should be specifically suited for the abrasive properties of the stone material to be processed. The diamond crystals of the diamond wire saw segments should be capable of withstanding the harsh working conditions typically encountered. Diamond wire saw segments are generally of two types - sintered diamond wire saw segments and electroplated diamond wire saw segments. Diamond wire saw segments are mounted on a steel cable with loaded springs and spacers for marble cutting. For granite cutting the diamond wire saw segments are mounted with special high pressure injected rubber/plastic spacers.
